Minutes provide a formal record of governing body proceedings and, with the exception of those deemed to be of a confidential nature, can be viewed by the public. They are a record for reference for the Corporation and its committees of business conducted and final decisions reached. Minutes are also likely to form part of evidence for any external or internal reviews, including inspection, self-assessment and internal and external audit.
