East Riding College was given LSIS Beacon Status in June 2011, Only a handful of colleges are awarded this highly respected accolade annually. In order to qualify for Beacon status, leadership and management must be graded by Ofsted as "outstanding" and inspection reports should have no grades less than "good" in all other areas inspected.
