Try these tasters in sport and the uniformed services

Free taster courses for people who are interested in a career in sport and the uniformed services are being held by East Riding College in Beverley and Bridlington next month.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about the components of a healthy lifestyle, test their fitness levels and experience a range of sports.
The sessions will take place at the Bridlington campus for three consecutive Wednesdays starting on June 3, 9am to 11.30am and at the Beverley campus for three consecutive Thursdays starting on June 4, 12.30pm to 3pm.

Sport tutor Abigail Brunton said: “These taster sessions are a fun and informal opportunity to take part in some sport and fitness sessions, which are relevant to careers in sport as well as the public services, which have a significant focus on health and fitness.
“They are also an opportunity to meet our tutors, take a look round our excellent facilities and find out about the courses you could be studying from September.”

The taster sessions are free to school leavers and 17 and 18-year olds. For further information and enrolments, call 0845 120 0037.
