Part-time courses

Higher education courses

**Paying back your course fees starts at less than £1 a day**

Don't be alarmed by what you've heard about tuition fees for higher education courses. The new national arrangements for loans, grants and loan repayments mean you really can afford to study for a higher level qualification. For the first time, tuition fee loans are available for part-time courses, as well as full-time courses. You don't start to pay off your loan until you're earning £21,000 and, for example, if you're earning £25,000, you only pay back £30 per month, which works out at less than £1 per day.

NOTE: Please call for fees for those courses not mentioned above.

Course fees

Our tuition fees for students starting a full-time foundation degree in September 2012 will be £5,750 for 2012/13. The fee for a part-time foundation degree which is offered over three years, will be £3,833 for 2012/13. The Certificate in Education and Professional Graduate Certificate in Education cost £3,833 per year and the BA (Hons) Education and Professional Development costs £4,500 per year.

These fees represent excellent value for money and enable you to study in a supportive and friendly environment with highly knowledgeable tutors who have the time and dedication to help you get the most out of the programme.

Tuition fee loans

If you are from England and studying for your first degree or other higher education course you will  not have to pay your tuition fees upfront because loans are available from the government. You will also get support towards your living costs. Tuition fee loans are available to all full-time and part-time higher education courses. The loan goes directly to paying for your course fees and you don't start paying it back until you're earning £21,000 a year.

Disabled Students Allowance

Students who incur extra costs as a result of undertaking a HE course and as a direct result of a disability or specific learning difficulty may be eligible to apply for support from the Disabled Students' allowance. This allowance can support things like additional travel costs, academic assistance, and specialist equipment.

For full details of fees, a personal assessment of possible support and how to apply, please call 0845 120 0037 and ask to speak to a guidance officer
