Careers advice
The College has qualified guidance staff who will help you to discuss your career options. They will also help you to choose the correct course, and plan the next steps after the course. Our tutors are then happy to sit down at any point in the year and chat with you about a particular course or subject area. They can tell you more about what the course is like, what kind of things you'll learn and how your learning is planned. If you're not sure what you want to do or even which career is best for you, just ring up and make an appointment to see our guidance officers or talk to them on the phone. To arrange a chat with a guidance officer, call the College on 0845 120 0037.
Confidential counselling and advice
Everyone needs someone to talk to at some point in their life and this might be while you're at College. We believe we have a duty to help you, so we offer an advice and guidance service and, where necessary, the support of a professional counsellor. These services are confidential and are available to all learners.
Additional needs
The College welcomes and supports all learners with additional needs and disabilities. Please tell us about your needs so we can give you full support and guidance. We will respect your request for confidentiality.
Childcare
Help with childcare costs may be available. The College works with a range of nurseries and registered childminders. The Bridlington site is close to the new East Riding Children's Centre which may have places available. Call us on 0845 120 0037 for more information.
