East Riding College is looking to appoint a Curriculum Leader to lead on the GCSE development in the curriculum delivery within the English, Maths and Learning Support area.

 

Applicants must have:

  • Recent and relevant teaching experience within the English curriculum area including Functional Skills and GCSE
  • A detailed understanding of recent curriculum developments in relation to the subject area

 

Experience and knowledge of the following are desirable but not essential:

  • Understanding/experience of Functional Skills and C&G 3847 assessment requirements and moderation procedures
  • Knowledge of WJEC English Language GCSE

Applicants will hold a teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) and Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.  Level 5 subject specialism in Literacy would be desirable also.

The College is looking to appoint a pth paid AAT Tutor to join the Leisure and Business team and take a key role in the development and delivery of the curriculum area.

Recent experience in the curriculum area is essential and also having knowledge of a range of related qualifications.

Applicants will possess NVQ level 3 or equivalent in the curriculum area and Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.  Applicants will hold or be willing to gain a teaching qualification - Cert Ed/PGCE.

Hours of work will be approximately 9 hours per week.

East Riding College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, learner focused Biology Tutor with strong administrative skills to take a key role in the delivery and development of GCSE, A Level and Access programmes across all sites of the College.  Applicants must have:

  • recent experience of A Level, GCSE and/or Access Biology course tutorship
  • Proven track record of A Level, GCSE and/or Access Biology achievement
  • Recent teaching experience of A Level, GCSE and/or Access Biology
  • Recent experience as a pastoral tutor

Applicants will hold a Degree or Higher Degree qualification relevant to the curriculum area; a teaching qualification (Cert Ed/ PGCE); and hold or be willing to gain Level 2 (or equivalent) Literacy and Numeracy.

This post will be based at the Bridlington site but there will be a requirement to travel to other College sites.
