Structure of the Corporation

East Riding College Corporation has four committees; the governance structure is shown below:

Audit Committee The role of the Audit Committee is to advise the Corporation on matters relating to the College's audit arrangements, the system of internal control and the appointment of auditors.   To view the terms of reference of the Audit Committee, click here

Search, Governance and Development Committee This Committee advises on the appointment of members and such matters relating to membership and appointments; the pursuit of excellence in governance; and the development of governors. To view the terms of reference of the Search, Governance and Development Committee, click here

Remuneration, Finance and Human Resources Committee This Committee advises the Corporation upon matters relating to the College's finances and resources, staffing policy and human resources strategy, matters affecting the setting of the framework for the pay and conditions of service of staff and upon the remuneration and employment terms and conditions of senior post holders.  To view the terms of reference of the Remuneration, Finance and Human Resources Committee, click here

Quality Standards Committee This Committee scrutinises the standards of learner performance; considers the standards of teaching, learning and assessment and its impact on the success and progression of learners; takes account of the views of the College’s major stakeholders; and advises and reports to the Corporation on the College’s performance and quality assurance system.  To view the terms of reference of the Quality Standards Committee, click here
