AAT Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping
There are two units of study in this qualification that will develop complex skills and knowledge necessary to work in a bookkeeping role or to progress to higher level accountancy roles or study.

What will I study?
Students completing this qualification will become competent in financial processes including accounting principles and concepts, advanced bookkeeping and preparing financial statements. They will also be introduced to business issues regarding payroll and value added tax (VAT), including an understanding of the documents and reports produced on payroll software, timescales for submissions and payments.
How will I be assessed?
Both units are assessed through a computer-based exam at the end of each study period.
How will the course be delivered?
This course is classroom based at the Flemingate site
Students must be in possession of either the AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping qualification or Certificate in Accounting. Students will be interviewed before being offered a place on the course
Students are responsible for paying their own AAT Professional Membership fees directly to the AAT on commencement of the course, the cost is £91.
