Bridlington Town Football Academy
This programme is for anyone who wants to be considered as a potential player for Bridlington Town Football club, whilst at the same time studying for a sport qualification. The course combines a BTEC programme at a level appropriate to you with specialist football skills coaching. In addition there will also be the opportunity to undertake a Level Two Fitness Instructors course

- Anatomy and physiology for sport
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is via a combination of external examinations and internally assessed assignments combined with practical sports activities which will include training at the Bridlington FC grounds as well as within the ERC gym. Suitability for playing with the Club reserves team will be determined via assessed practical activities.
How will the course be delivered?
This course is classroom based and includes a range of external outdoor and residential study visits. A range of guest speakers will help to raise your awareness of a range of careers within public services.
Entry requirements for a Level 3 programme:
A Level Two BTEC Extended Certificate in Sport at merit level
Entry requirements for a Level 2 programme
Four GCSEs grade D/3 including Maths and English
Appropriate work experience
Successful practical interview demonstrating motivation and commitment to the course
An initial assessment to determine which level of programme is most suitable
You could progress to Level Two/Level Three qualifications in sport or higher education such as the Foundation Degree in Sport.
All study programmes contain English and maths elements.
You will undertake work experience as part of this programme.
