What will I study?

Site Carpentry
Level 3 Training Units:

  • Health and safety
    Technical Information
    Analysing construction
    First fix
    Second fix
    Shaping machinery
    Complex structural carcassing
    Maintain non structural elements

Level 3 NVQ Diploma Units:

  • Health and safety
    Work activities and resources
    Working relationships
    Method of work
    Cutting machines
    Bespoke first fix
    Bespoke second fix

Optional units:

  • Structural carcassing
    Maintenance
    Complex roofs

How will I be assessed?

  • Knowledge test
    Work presentations
    Work projects
    Gateway and end point assessment (practical, theory exam)

How will the course be delivered?

Taught sessions with practicals
Work based assessments and visits

Entry requirements

A - C/7 - 4 in Maths and English, however previous experience could be considered.
