Level Two Award in Awareness of Dementia (Distance Learning)
Course participants will have an opportunity to learn about Dementia, its diagnosis, how it affects people and current practices. Participants will be able to get practical advice and information on caring for people with Dementia.

How will I be assessed?
This is a non-accredited course with no exam at the end, but the tutor will monitor progress and give feedback
How will the course be delivered?
Tutor-led session using up to date information sharing, opportunities to take notes, simple exercises, discussion and practical advice at a steady pace.
Entry requirements
No previous experience is required.

The tutor will want to find out as much as possible about why you want to learn and what you already know in order to plan a suitable programme. The content of the course will be discussed, and you will be given further details about the course materials and other learning resources. Any relevant paperwork will be discussed and completed at this session. Please bring a notebook and pen.
