Digital Photography for Beginners

A new ten hour course that takes you through analogue to digital photography techniques - real hands on experience of shooting and processing film, then converting and manipulating with digital tools. 

What will I study?

You will initially learn how to use a manual film camera. Learning about aperture, shutterspeed and depth of field.

The film will then be developed using chemicals before being scanned in digitally and then manipulated using specialist photography software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.


How will I be assessed?

This is a non accredited course with no exam at the end but the tutor will monitor progress and give feedback.

Entry requirements

No previous experience of Digital Photography is required.
