Flowers for Christmas

You will produce a Christmas wreath from scratch, learning all the techniques required to produce a fresh spruce door decoration. Learners will have the opportunity over the two weeks to create their own design with materials of their choice.

Scissors/ secateurs and gardening gloves will be required.

How will I be assessed?

This is a non accredited course with no exam at the end but the tutor will monitor progress and give feedback and you will be expected to complete a ‘weekly record of learning’.

How will the course be delivered?

A variety of teaching methods will be used to ensure that learners’ individual needs are met.

The tutor will confirm details at the first session but the learner will be expected to purchase additional materials (spruce, moss and decoration for wreath)

The tutor will want to find out as much as possible about why you want to learn and what you already know in order to plan a suitable programme and instil the importance of health and safety.  The content of the course will be discussed and you will be given further details about course materials and other learning resources.  Any relevant paperwork will be discussed and completed at this session.  Please bring a notebook and pen.
