Level Five CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Management

The level five course helps you to develop advanced knowledge and skills within Human Resource Management and provides an excellent opportunity to network with like-minded individuals within your professional sphere. Assessed via a range of CIPD-set assignments, you will develop the tools and management techniques required by employers.

What will I study?
The Intermediate Certificate comprises the following units:
- Developing professional practice
- Using information in human resources
- Business issues and the contexts of human resources
- Organisation design
- Organisation development
- Employment law
- Developing leadership and management
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is carried out through assignments and presentations/practical activities. There are no examinations.

How will the course be delivered?
A combination of taught classes, use of e-Learning packages and self-study including a reflective journal.
All programmes are led and taught by experienced teaching staff who are vocational specialists. They are qualified, and often have extensive experience within the industry or the sector being studied. All teaching staff meet or exceed the requirements set by the awarding institute or body.
You should ideally possess the CIPD Level Three Certificate or Diploma in Human Resource Practice. Applications are also welcomed from those with a related degree or from those with existing experience in Management or Human Resources. If in any doubt, telephone us for an informal discussion.Applicants should possess a relevant HR qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 3 Diploma in HR Practice) or a degree in a related subject. Alternatively, applications are welcomed from people with appropriate experience in human resources or those with a general management background.
A typical offer for this course would ask for the entry requirements to be met, however, all offers take individual applicants’ experience and qualifications into account.
