Level Three Award in Computer Aided Design Parametric Modelling

The courses are designed for anybody (from beginner to professional) with an interest in learning how to use and get the most out of the latest CAD design technology to produce and edit three dimensional models, assemblies and drawings using SOLIDWORKS

What will I study?

You will learn how to produce 3D modelled parts, component assemblies, detailed drawings, and much more including rendered images, exploded views and applying material attributes to name a few. You will have access to our specialist CAD lab and the step by step handbook is yours to take away at the end of the course or to use in practice at home.

How will I be assessed?

To achieve the C&G qualification you will need to take two 2.5 hour drawing practical exams and one multiple choice question paper. You can learn at your own pace and take the assessments as and when you are ready.

How will the course be delivered?

Most of the course content is delivered using tutorial handouts with tutor support as required, allowing learners to progress at their own pace.
