Level Two Award in Emergency First Aid

This is a one-day course for those wishing to gain a first aid qualification.

This course will be held on Monday 4 September or Monday 28 November, both 9am-4pm

E-learning, blended learning or another other form of distance learning do not meet the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive in relation to employers having staff qualified in first aid. All East Riding College courses are delivered face to face.

What will I study?

• The roles and responsibilities of the Emergency First Aider
• Assessing an incident
• Recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness
• Assisting a casualty who is suffering from injury and illness

How will I be assessed?

The qualification is assessed via on-going oral and/or written questioning and practical demonstration.
