Level Two Certificate in an Introduction to Cabin Crew

This course is designed for learners who would like to work as cabin crew, including the duties carried out by cabin crew in the crew room.  

What will I study?

The Level 2 Cabin Crew qualification comprises 6 units: 

  • Working as cabin crew
  • Airline health, safety and security
  • Aircraft emergency situations
  • Dealing with passengers on-board an aircraft,
  • Cabin service – selling techniques
  • Making passenger announcements on-board an aircraft

 

In addition you will also study a Level 2 Award in Travel and Tourism to give you some core knowledge about the travel industry.

 

How will I be assessed?

This course is assessed practically and through written coursework. Coursework and practical assessments are based on realistic workplace situations.

Entry requirements

4 GCSE’s at Grade 3 or higher, including Maths and English. 

Learners will also study GCSE Maths and English as part of their programme.

What next?

Level 3 Travel and Tourism, or employment in the aviation industry.

Our New Level 2 Cabin Crew programme is the first in series of new programmes designed to help fill the current skills shortage.  You will have the opportunity to visit local airports, and to practice cabin crew skills . You will also hear from some of our previous students who are now working as cabin crew.
