Level Two Intermediate Apprenticeship in Construction - Wood
These apprenticeships develop the skills of people working in roles such as site carpenter, bench joiner and shop fitter.
What will I study?
- Information, quantities and communicating with others
- Building methods and construction technology
- First fixing operations
- Second fixing operations
- Building maintenance
- Circular saws and their uses
How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed through observation, underpinning knowledge questions and the development of a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence.
Many apprenticeships do not have formal entry requirements other than you must be working in an appropriate job.
