Making Better Bread

Do you enjoy watching cooking programmes on television and would like to improve your skills? Join us for a half day session preparing and making classical recipes guaranteed to make you the envy of friends and family. This is a hands on session preparing and cooking some traditional British and Italian breads.

What will I study?

There will be a series of step by step practical demonstrations for you to follow and create your own dish with guidance from the tutor.

How will I be assessed?

This is a non accredited course with no exam at the end but the tutor will monitor progress and give feedback.

How will the course be delivered?

This will be very much a “hands on” session with practical instruction and demonstration backed up with constant spot demonstrations throughout the session. Students will produce an array of dishes, including wholemeal or white bread rolls, focaccia, and Chelsea Buns

Entry requirements

No experience required.

Additional information

There will be a contribution of £5 towards the food which you will take home.
