This apprenticeship is suitable for staff working in either the Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets with responsibility to sell a specific product line or service. They will lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer and manage sales internally within their organisation

What will I study?

Knowledge units:

  • Understand your organisations vision
  • Identify the features and advantages of the product
  • Understand how your market is segmented
  • Understand the principles of finance
  • Analyse the macro and micro environment
  • Exploit digital technologies

Skills units:

  • Set effective targets
  • Communicate effectively
  • Skilled at effective questioning
  • Develop sales proposals
  • Research the customers likely desired outcome
  • Deliver a positive customer experience
  • Effectively use digital tools
  • Collect, analyse and interpret market intelligence

Behaviours and Attitude:

  • Present youself as an ambassador
  • Develop new and existing customer relationships
  • Maintain integrity
  • Repond positively to coaching
  • Remain calm under pressure

How will I be assessed?

Three stages:

On Programme- including off the job training and assessment

Gateway Assessment –Discussion between employer and provider to agree if learner is ready for end assessment

End Point Assessment- made up of 4 elements:

  • Knowledge test
  • Structured interview
  • Assessment of portfolio of evidence
  • Professional discussion relating to CPD activity
