Spanish Beginners Step Three

To enable learners to use and understand simple statements, expressions and questions in common situations.  To enable learners to understand simple written messages, questions and forms and produce brief written responses.

 

This course is offered at Beverley on Tuesday 18 September, 1.30pm to 3.30pm or Wednesday 19 September, 6pm to 8pm.

What will I study?

A relaxed, informal course for beginners.  The course will build on the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing within the context of the various topic areas.  These could include general information, travel, accommodation, food and drink, shopping, services and emergencies.  The course will introduce the basic vocabulary and language needed to cope with situations you may find yourself in when on holiday or visiting the country.

How will I be assessed?

This is a non accredited course with no exam at the end but the tutor will monitor progress and give feedback.

The tutor will want to find out as much as possible about why you want to learn and what you already know in order to plan a suitable programme.  The content of the course will be discussed and you will be given further details about course materials and other learning resources.  Any relevant paperwork will be discussed and completed at this session.  Please bring a notebook and pen
