Do you need counselling training or perhaps you would like to use counselling skills in your current job?
East Riding College has new courses starting in March at all levels. The OCN Introduction to Counselling Level 1 is a 7 week course on a Tuesday evening, 6.00pm - 9.00pm at the Beverley site. This course provides basic information in counselling skills and the opportunity to find out the role of a counsellor.
The NCFE Certificate in Counselling Skills Level 2 is a 14 week course on a Monday afternoon 12.30pm - 3.30pm also at Beverley. You will receive training in counselling skills for use in a variety of work and personal situations.
You can progress from the Level 2 to the NCFE Certificate in Counselling Skills and Theory Level 3.
This course is offered at Beverley on Tuesday afternoons 12.30pm - 3.30pm or Bridlington on Wednesdays 6.00pm - 9.00pm. You may wish to involve yourself in counselling either in a professional or voluntary capacity. This course includes counselling skills and methods and your application in specific practical situations.
