Are you at that stage of life when you may be considering returning to education and don't have the confidence to take the plunge? You have plenty of life experience but no qualifications?
Perhaps your future plans include studying for a degree or changing your career path? Would you consider training to be a teacher, social worker or a nurse? East Riding College offers mature adults a recognised route in to higher education through its Access Programme.
Course leader Ray Kirby said "This full-time or part-time programme is ideal for those people who want to fast-track to higher education. A number of our college learners have progressed on to a variety of undergraduate programmes at both national and local universities.
The College will be holding an Access to Higher Education Open Morning at the Gallows Lane, Beverley site and St Marys Walk, Bridlington on Saturday 24 June, 10.00am - 12 noon. Anyone who may be interested is very welcome to come and talk with the professional tutors and discuss attendance and funding?.
There are no formal entry requirements to the Access Programme which includes support for those who have not studied for a considerable time.
