Students from East Riding College helped raise money for Children in Need.East Riding College students were enthusiastic to play their part in raising money for Children in Need.

Some of the fund raising activities included the childcare students, at Beverley, dressed in pyjamas, and tutor Jackie Kenyon dressed as Harry Potter,collecting money around the college site and Beverley town centre. At Bridlington, Childcare tutor, Catherine Frear and students also dressed in pyjamas, singing nursery rhymes whilst collecting money.

The Foundation students at Beverley arranged and took part in a treadmill marathon, whilst the foundation students at Bridlington baked and sold cakes.

Tracey Heywood, Enrichment Officer said ?It was a successful day with lots of students and staff participating. The total raised on the day was in excess of ?341 with monies still rolling in. I would like to thank everyone for their support and the finance department who had the task of counting all the loose change?.
