East Riding College students donate shoeboxes to Romania for Christmas.

East Riding College students at the Bridlington site, studying on the National Diploma in Travel & Tourism, wanted to do their bit towards supporting The Jacobs Well Charity. They collected gifts and made up shoeboxes to be sent to Romania for Christmas. The charity is based in Beverley. The students presented the boxes to Beryl Beynon who is the founder member from Jacobs Well.

Beverley Cooper, Course Tutor said, ?Beryl talked to the students about how she set up the charity and the work that the Charity has achieved in Afghanistan and Romania. The students were interested in listening to the problems that face the residents of Kabul and the culture and religion of the country?.
