College Raises Money for Comic Relief

East Riding College have raised over ?400 for Comic Relief, with money still flooding in.
Students at the Beverley and Bridlington sites raised the money in a variety of ways.
The Employer Engagement department ran two competitions, their very own version of ?Deal or No Deal? and Guess Who? Staff member, Dave Jackson underwent a Noel Edmonds makeover, to enable him to play the vital role of the popular television quiz master. Each member of the department also brought along a baby photograph and colleagues had to guess which photograph belonged to which member. The total amount raised was ?85.00.
The Motor Vehicle students held a ?Car Health Clinic? raising ?49.16., where staff and students were invited to bring their cars for a check up to spot any obvious faults.
For those wanting to change their image the Hair and Beauty students were colouring hair red for a small charge and raised ?29.71.
Other fund raising activities included, cakes and biscuits, baked and sold, quizzes, fancy-dress, and ?Beat the Goalie?
Tracy Heywood, Enrichment Officer said ?The students and staff all made an enormous effort to raise money, and also had a fun time. The day was a complete success?.
