Ashraf Naseer, aged 30 from AA.Himandhoo, a small island in the Maldives, is studying Level 1 Marine Engineering with East Riding College, at its Carnaby site in Bridlington.

Ashraf Naseer, aged 30 from AA.Himandhoo, a small island in the Maldives, is studying Level 1 Marine Engineering with East Riding College, at its Carnaby site in Bridlington.

Ashraf used the internet, to undertake some initial research, comparing similar courses offered in other countries and decided to visit East Riding College to look at the facilities available. Ashraf is now well on the way to completing his Level 1 qualification and will be returning to complete Level 2.

To achieve his full potential , Ashraf is using his time at East Riding College to the maximum, as well as studying on the Marine Engineering he has also enrolled on the ESOL programme (English for Speakers of other Languages) and associated skills which includes Maths, English and Information Technology.

Ashraf said ?I am really enjoying the courses and my time at East Riding College. I plan to return to the Maldives and start my own Marine Engineering business?
