Students from East Riding College plan and deliver a workshop session with pupils from Molescroft School in Beverley.

Sport Students at East Riding College organised and delivered a cricket workshop for pupils at Molescroft School in Beverley.

The Students are studying on the first year of the BTEC National Diploma in Sport Development & Fitness. Additional qualifications undertaken alongside the full time programme include the Community Sports Leader Award.

For this award the students organised 2, one hour workshops for 60 children in years 3 and 4. A planning session was held before the event to discuss what equipment would be needed, how the groups of children would be organised, a leader for each group and to run through the rules of the game. The school children had a warm-up session first, followed by batting and bowling.
