The St.Mary's Walk Site of East Riding College has been granted planning permission.

East Riding College is today one step closer with its plans to create a new campus in Bridlington. Following a Planning Committee Hearing this morning, Outline Planning Permission was granted for the redevelopment of the St Mary?s Walk site.

The College has been busy in recent months liaising with external bodies and also the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) who have supported the proposals and granted financial support for the ambitious project. More recently the College has seconded Richard Sellick, Head of Construction as Project Manager to oversee the developments.

The St.Mary's Walk Site of East Riding College has been granted planning permission. The news that the College had obtained outline planning permission was welcomed by both staff and students alike, and comes at a time when East Riding College is celebrating its recent good inspection result from OFSTED.

The new campus will be re-developed on the existing site and aims to serve the people of Bridlington and the north of the East Riding. John Doris, Director of Resources, commented ?We are very pleased with the way the plans are progressing, and look forward to becoming even closer towards achieving our ambitious plans.?
