She has been awarded the Bhandari Prize for her outstanding achievement in receiving top marks in the external examination.

The awards ceremony was held in London on 17 October and sponsored by Sainsbury?s. Anne attended with course tutor Jill Uscroft where she was awarded with her certificate and received ?100 prize money .

Anne has now completed the NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy. During her time on the course Anne gained experience working at the ?2 escape? salon in Hornsea. Whilst working at the salon Anne decided that her passion lay with Holistic therapy and enrolled on a part time Reflexology course at East Riding College.

Anne said ?I have thoroughly enjoyed the courses at East Riding College and have found them all very interesting. I decided I wanted to do something very different from the office environment I had been used to. It was during my study that the Holistic side of the therapies became more fascinating to me.?

Ann has now achieved her dream and owns her own business in Hornsea ?Serenity? working as a Holistic Therapist.
