Reviewers Commend East Riding College

East Riding College is encouraging students to enrol on its computing programmes after receiving a glowing report from national reviewers.

The College was recently inspected for its performance in Higher Education Computing programmes by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for the Higher Education Funding Council.

Reviewers stated, ?The quality of teaching and learning is commendable and the College has robust, transparent systems for the maintenance and enhancement of standards and quality.?

Alison Gray, Curriculum Development Manager for East Riding College, said: ?We are delighted with this report. It shows that the QAA have absolute confidence in the College and the Computing programmes that we run. The outcome is a testimony to the hard work of both the tutors and the students and we look forward to continued success.?

Derek Branton, Principal of the College, said ?This is a ringing endorsement for the College?s higher education provision.  Over the past three years we have more than doubled recruitment to our growing range of higher education programmes.  Studying at higher education level is one of the best career investments anyone can made for their future.  Achieving such high standards should encourage even more students to enrol on one of our programmes.?
