Are you at that stage of life when you may be considering returning to education and don?t have the confidence to take the plunge? You may have plenty of life experience but no qualifications?

Perhaps your future plans include studying for a qualification or changing your career path?

East Riding College are offering a Return to Learn course for adults, starting in April at Gallows Lane, Beverley and St Mary?s Walk, Bridlington.

The course will enable you to gain a recognised national qualification at Level 2 which will improve your study skills and prepare you for Level 3 courses including Higher Education programmes such as Access to Higher Education.

Sally Metcalfe, from Beverley, studying on the Access to Higher Education course said ?Who said being a mature student was boring? The Return to Learn course, was really good fun; I covered subjects like IT referencing, how the brain works and of course Maths and English. It prepared me very well to progress onto the Access to Higher Education course. I am a more confident person, and it helped me get back into the learning process. Now I?m going to the University of Edinburgh, to read Social Policy and Politics!?
