Students Show off Creative Talents

Works of art by East Riding College students will go on show next week in the annual end of year exhibition.
About 60 pieces by more than 20 art and design students will be displayed at the College?s Bridlington campus in St Mary?s Walk on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. They include sculptures, paintings, clothing, interior design and textiles. They were made by students aged 16 to 70.
Course tutor Dawn Dixon said: ?The exhibition features an incredible range of pieces by some very talented students and we?re very proud of what they have achieved. ?The majority of students will be going on to higher education or more advanced courses at the College.?
The exhibition will be held on Tuesday, 24 June, from 4pm to 7pm and on Wednesday and Thursday, June 25 and 26, from 10am to 4pm in the care block at the St Mary?s Walk site. Members of the public are welcome to come along to any of the sessions. The Tuesday session coincides with the College information event for prospective students.
