1st December 2008 11:34am - Return to press releases
East Riding College?s hair and beauty students are appealing for models who would like reduced cost treatments.
The College runs courses in beauty therapy - which includes Indian head massage, aromatherapy, manicures and pedicures ? and hairdressing, which includes cutting and colouring hair.
All students get practical experience with paying clients and are supervised at all times.
The College?s salons, at its sites in Gallows Lane, Beverley, and St Mary?s Walk, Bridlington, are fitted out to professional standards.
Treatments which particularly need models are male and female electrolysis hair removal and St Tropez spray tan.
Natalee Eddom, head of curriculum for hair and beauty, said: ?Our hair and beauty courses are very popular and are the breeding ground for the salon professionals of tomorrow.
?We have a lot of regular customers who come back time and time again but the popularity of the courses means we need more.?
