Summer courses in latest guide

13th March 2009 11:39am - Return to press releases

East Riding College's new part-time course guide, featuring dozens of courses running during spring and summer, is now available.
Anyone who wants to learn new skills or improve their career prospects will be able to choose from a wide range of subjects, such as Joinery, Engineering, Hot Stone Massage, English and Health and Safety.
For the first time, the guide also features a comprehensive list of courses the College can run at dates and times to suit employers.
There are sections on Basic Skills, such as Literacy and Numeracy, and IT, from basic computing to more advanced courses.
Courses range from half-day short courses to two-year programmes and from entry level to degree level.

Principal Derek Branton said: "Our latest course guide gives details of a wide range of courses which can give you the skills and qualifications to get a new job, advance in your current place of work or just satisfy your interest in a particular subject.
"As well as courses for individuals, there are many programmes which enable employers to increase skill levels in their workforce and meet the requirements of various pieces of legislation."

The guide is available from East Riding College sites in Gallows Lane, Beverley, St Mary's Walk, Bridlington, Lancaster Road, Carnaby, and St James Street, Hull.
The College's full-time and higher education course guides, both for courses starting in autumn 2009, are also available.
The part-time course guide for courses starting is September, which contains a wider choice of courses, will be published in May.
