Find out which course is right for you

29th October 2009 12:54pm - Return to press releases

Advice and guidance for people considering an East Riding College course will be available at two open events this month.
The events are a chance to talk to tutors, find out more about courses and have a look round the College's buildings. They are suitable for school leavers and adults, whether they are considering a full-time, part-time or higher education course.
They will be held as follows:

  • Tuesday, November 17, from 4pm to 7pm at Gallows Lane, Beverley
  • Tuesday, November 24, from 4pm to 7pm at St Mary's Walk, Bridlington

Principal Derek Branton said: "Open events allow prospective students to find out all about the courses they are interested in and to talk to our tutors. They are also an opportunity for people who are unsure about their future career to talk to our guidance staff who can advise on which courses are right for certain jobs."

There will be tutors present from all subject areas who will answer questions and chat about the courses, as well as help with completing application forms. People who go to the Bridlington information event will be able to see the new £17m campus, which opened in September.
