New course guide for the new year

18th December 2009 9:55am - Return to press releases

East Riding College's new part-time course guide, featuring dozens of courses starting in the new year, is now available.
Anyone who wants to learn new skills or improve their career prospects will be able to choose from a wide range of subjects, such as woodworking, business, reiki, engineering and languages.
Many of the courses start in January but some can be done at any time. There are sections on basic skills, such as literacy and numeracy, and IT, from basic computing to more advanced courses.
The guide also contains courses for employers with training needs in subjects such as food safety, first aid and health and safety. Courses range from half-day short courses to two-year programmes and from entry level to degree level.

Principal Derek Branton said: "The new year is a time when lots of people are inspired to learn something new or improve their career prospects by studying for a work-related qualification.
"Our new part-time course guide has an excellent variety of courses that are stimulating, useful and great for your CV."

The guide is available from East Riding College sites in Gallows Lane, Beverley, and St Mary's Walk, Bridlington.  The College's new full-time and higher education course guides, both for courses starting in autumn 2010, are also available.
