Low cost courses help you discover adult education

East Riding College is offering 50 low-cost short courses on a wide range of fascinating subjects from next month.
The College's Discover adult education courses run for eight to ten weeks and are aimed at people who simply want to learn new things without any exams or coursework.
The courses come under the headings art, crafts and music; computer skills; engineering; general interest; languages; and psychology, sociology and health.
Mick Mather , school and community liaison manager at East Riding College, said: "Discover courses open up a whole range of exciting new interests and skills.
"You can explore the local history of the East Riding, discover how to read body language, investigate how the news is made and discuss ten ideas that made the world.
"There really is something for everyone."
The courses will be held at the College's campuses in Gallows Lane, Beverley, and St Mary's Walk, Bridlington, and a range of community venues in the Beverley, Bridlington and Driffield areas. To enrol, visit the College's Beverley or Bridlington campuses, which are open for enrolment between 10am and 7pm Monday to Thursday and 10am and 4pm on Fridays during term time and Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm outside term time.

Anyone who is in receipt of an income-based benefit should bring appropriate evidence when they enrol.
