Former Rugby League star among guest speakers at sport event

Photo. Alison Gray.jpgFormer Hull FC star Craig Murdock will be among the guest speakers at a free sports event at East Riding College next month.
The lively and informative three-hour session which starts at 10am on June 10 aims to help people considering a career in sports and fitness-related careers to find out more about potential jobs in the sector.
Each of the nine speakers will give an insight into their role and a short presentation, before taking part in a question and answer session. The event, at the campus in St Mary's Walk, Bridlington, will also be an opportunity to find out more about the College's Foundation Degree in Sport, Exercise and Health Science. A free lunch and drinks will be provided. 

Alison Gray, assistant director, faculty of services to people at the College, said: "We have pulled together a wide range of experienced and interesting speakers from across the sport and fitness sector for this one-off event.
"Anyone who is considering a career in the industry should come along to listen and talk to these experts and find out how our Foundation Degree in Sport, Exercise and Health Science can help them achieve their goals."

The full list of speakers is as follows: Craig Murdock, ex-professional Rugby League player and coach, now a BBC radio rugby commentator; Danny Wilson, Hull FC community foundation representative; Matt Adams, Hull FC marketing; Paul Smith, East Riding College sports tutor; Paul Hiorns, Bridlington School Sports College; Lucozade sports scientist; FA community football coach; FA sports development officer; personal trainer/nutritionist.
