Mick Mather 120 X 178 .jpgA free event at East Riding College in Bridlington will help people find out more about how they can access higher education.
The College, the Open University and the University of Hull will hold information sessions at an event at the College, in St Mary's Walk, Bridlington, which will enable people to speak to experts about what is on offer to them.

Mick Mather, the College's school and community liaison manager, said: "Statistics show that people from Bridlington are less likely to have a degree level qualification than many places in the country so we have got together with other providers to give people more information.
"The College has well-established higher education courses such as teacher training and vocational foundation degrees and the University of Hull and the Open University are highly respected higher education institutions with a wide range of courses on offer."

The Open University and University of Hull will be running information sessions on their courses on Wednesday, May 19, at the College's Bridlington campus, at 1.30pm for an hour. The College will have information sessions on its higher education courses throughout the day.
The events form part of the activities, including free mini courses, the College is holding as part of Adult Learners' Week, which runs from May 15 to 21.
For more information about the Adult Learners' Week events or for a leaflet detailing all the events, visit www.eastridingcollege.ac.uk or call 0845 120 0037.
