Brave Emma raises £500 in sponsored head shave

Her fellow student Katie Smithson did the honours with the clippers as Emma raised the money for Evelina's Children's Hospital at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London in aid of her niece, Scarlett, who died aged just 30 days.
Emma, 27, from Bridlington, said: "I was a bit nervous about having my head shaved but I feel really proud now that I've had it done.
"I'm so pleased to have raised as much money for the Evelina in memory of my niece, Scarlett Lily. Thank you to everybody who sponsored me."

Emma underwent the close crop at the start of a lesson, with 20 students and tutors cheering her on.
Tutor Tracy Ellerington said: "Emma was really brave and she was well Photo. Emma Leah after having her head shaven.jpgsupported by her classmates, and it's great news that she has raised so much for such a good cause.
"We were all wondering how she would look in the end but it really suits her!"
