East Riding College is holding a special open event for people who are thinking about a career in hair and beauty on Thursday, April 19, from 6pm to 7.30pm at its campus in Gallows Lane, Beverley.
The event, which is aimed at 16 to 18-year-olds, will be an opportunity to check out the excellent new facilities at the College’s Inspire Hair and Beauty salons, watch demonstrations and see students in action.
Visitors will also be able to meet the friendly and professional staff and discuss the options for courses from September.
Head of hair and beauty Natalee Eddom (pictured) said: “This open event is a chance for young people who are interested in hair and beauty as a career to see first-hand what learners do in their studies at East Riding College.
“Our tutors will be here to discuss your aspirations and you’ll be able to talk to current students about how they feel about their course and the skills they have learnt.”
