East Riding College has highest employer satisfaction rates in Yorkshire

East Riding College came out on top in an independent survey of employers rating their satisfaction with training delivered by colleges. In the FE Choices survey commissioned by the Education and Skills Funding Agency, East Riding College took the top spot in Yorkshire, with an overall satisfaction rating of 97.3%.
It was one of only 15 colleges to get into the top 50 training providers in the country, and was in the top 15 nationally for all colleges, as well as being number one in the Yorkshire region.
The annual survey measures how well providers understand employers’ needs; how flexible providers are; how well they communicate; professionalism of staff; delivery of training that reflects up to date industry practices; overall quality and efficiency, and how likely they would be to recommend them to another employer.
Richard Sellick, Assistant Director of Business Developments said, “We’re delighted to see another good result this year, and to come out on top reflects the hard work we put in to consistently delivering for our employers, whether they’re local, regional, national or international businesses. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and understanding our employers’ industries. We’re in partnership with them for the long haul and this is reflected in our consistent performance, both in the FE Choices survey and our timely completion and achievement rates for apprenticeships, which are well above the national averages.”
