Colleges Week 2018

Principal and Chief Executive Mike Welsh and Head of Curriculum, Staff Governor and UCU Branch Chair Tracey Murray had a thank you message for all the support the College had received during the campaign.
During the week:
- Students took part in special Maths and English tutorials based around the funding gap and pay gap in FE.
- Students took part in a land art sculpture to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the College’s Bridlington campus. The Government has cut funding to colleges by 30% since the St Mary’s Walk campus was built.
- The College contacted local MPs and employers asking them to lend their support to the national campaign.
- Staff and students were interviewed on Radio Humberside about the issues and impact of custs on students and staff.
- Our social media campaign reached thousands of people.
