College joins in with Christmas Lights Switch-on

The College’s own activities will include:
- Kids craft activities
- Christmas nails
- Music
- Barbering
- Mulled wine and other drinks for sale in our restaurant Elwell's
- Mince pies, gingerbread and other Christmas treats stalls
- Decorations and Christmas fayre for sale
- Kiwi Food Co. vegan food stall
- Prosecco Cube
- Coffee Cabin for hot drinks
- New Horizons travel will be open to promote Christmas trips and holidays for 2019
Meanwhile, on Flemingate, the Christmas lights switch-on promises to be bigger and better than last year! It will see a host of entertainment, followed by the light switch-on and a dazzling firework finale.
Visitors can enjoy festive drinks and roaring log fires in the cosy tipi bar, Bartipi, which returns to Flemingate for a second year. The evening of family entertainment will also see a return of the Remarkable Rock Choir, who are guaranteed to get the crowds dancing and singing along to festive rock classics. An amazing ‘Greatest Showman’ tribute act will perform songs from the film and the talented cast from Parkway cinema’s panto will entertain the crowds with songs from this year’s pantomime ‘Jack and the Bean Stalk’. Plus, late night shppping of course!
