Applicants will have recent industrial experience and hold NVQ 2 in beauty and/or hairdressing.
The post will be based at Beverley but note there will be a requirement to travel.

East Riding College is looking to appoint a Tutor/Assessor to be responsible for the delivery of engineering programmes in general, and to lead on those with a Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronic bias. To ensure that teaching, learning and assessment is to a very high standard and that retention, pass and achievement rates are at or above national averages and that learner progression is robustly monitored. This role will also be that of a workplace assessor, enabling apprentices to be assessed both at college and within the workplace. The assessor will take a hands on role in completing a successful framework within the engineering pathway.
Applicants will have industrial electrical/electronic engineering experience and experience in an FE environment; understanding of the various assessment criteria and procedures and Health and Safety awareness within FE.
Applicants will hold Level 3 in Electronic/Mechatronics subject; A1 Assessors Award; and possess or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) and Level 2 Mathematics and English.
