East Riding College currently has an exciting and unique opportunity available to join our Guidance team in the role of Collaborative Outreach Coordinator.  This is a fantastic opportunity to work proactively and creatively with young people, delivering outreach activities to encourage them to progress into Higher Education.

The Position

As a Collaborative Outreach Coordinator, you will take a leading role in the delivery of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) for the collaborative consortium, the University Of Hull Federation Of Regional Colleges for Engagement (FORCE).  It will be part of your role to support with the design and creation of new activities or projects to be delivered to young people, and you will be in frequent contact with schools and colleges in the area and will build relationships between them and the consortium.

You will have experience of providing careers education, information, advice and guidance, and experience of working with young people and able to deliver engaging activities in schools and colleges.  You will need excellent communication skills and will be highly professional, able to work collaboratively with colleagues, partner institutions and schools/colleges. 

 

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and ideally hold a relevant level 4 CEIAG qualification.  You will have knowledge relating to careers education and information, advice and guidance, as well as career progression routes.

This vacancy will be based at our state of the art site at St Mary’s Walk in Bridlington, with travel to our site at Flemingate, Beverley, and educational establishments across the region.  The proposed working hours for this post are Tuesday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility between the line manager and successful candidate).

This post is initially fixed term to July 2019.

The Position

As an Administrative Assistant within the Contract Compliance team, you will be involved with quality checking enrolment forms and all supporting documentation for Apprenticeships, ensuring audit requirements are adhered to.  You will work together with the wider Contract Compliance team to ensure all relevant learner information is logged onto both internal and external management information systems, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of data.  You will also be required to communicate and develop relationships with external customers.  The post will be based at our state of the art campus in Beverley, with some possible travel between our campuses in Bridlington and Hull.

Applicants will have data processing and previous administrative experience, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a busy and demanding workload.  Experience in the use of a variety of IT systems, particularly management information systems, would be desirable, along with knowledge of the education sector and funding agencies.

The successful applicant will be educated to Level 2 standard, including English and Maths.
