The Position

As an Assistant Exams Officer, you will assist with all aspects of the examinations process, including the administration of tests and exams, and maintaining learner records. You will provide advice, guidance and support in relation to examinations and awarding bodies, and work proactively to resolve issues and ensure compliance with awarding body regulations.

The post will be based one of our fantastic College sites in either Beverley or Bridlington, to be agreed with the successful candidate, with frequent travel between the sites.

What we need from you

You will have experience in the use of data processing and Management Information Systems, as well as strong administrative skills. You will have good IT skills, and the ability to prioritise and organise your workload.

Candidates will be qualified up to level 2, including English and Maths. Knowledge of examination processes and Awarding Body requirements would be desirable.

The Role

As an Academic Mentor, you will assist academic staff in facilitating effective additional educational opportunities and support for learners to support the completion of their studies and future positive progression. You will support learners in their day to day activities, and be responsible for a caseload of learners that you will coordination and monitor for the full academic year.

We have four posts available; two based at our site at Flemingate, Beverley, and two at St Mary’s Walk, Bridlington. The posts are fixed term until 31 July 2021 in the first instance.

What We Need From You

You will have experience of delivering learning support, mentoring or coaching within an educational setting, as well as knowledge of a range of additional needs. You will possess a minimum of a Grade B/Level 6 or above in GCSE English and/or Mathematics, and have general educations to level 2 standard. A level 3 qualification in learning support, or a willingness to work towards this, would be advantageous.

The Role

As an Electrical Tutor, you take an active role in the delivery of the Electrical Apprenticeship, and prepare and assemble suitable teaching materials and learning resources for the delivery of all courses/classes designated, to maximise learner success, achievement and retention.

This is a casual post, working around one day per week (Friday) during the academic year.

What We Need From You

You will have recent experience of teaching within the curriculum area, and knowledge of a range of related qualifications. You will have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a subject related to the curriculum area; level 2 English and Maths; and hold or be willing to gain a teaching Qualification – Cert Ed/PGCE
