We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join the College in the role of Learning Support Advisor to become a key member of our successful and supportive Foundation and Learning Support team on a part-time hourly basis.

The Role

As a Learning Support Advisor, you will assist teaching staff in providing effective educational opportunities and personal support for learners with additional needs and/or disabilities across a range of curriculum subjects.

What We Need From You

Applicants must have experience of delivering learning support within an educational setting and have the ability to support vulnerable learners sensitively. The role will also involve supporting learner with personal care.

Ideally, the successful applicant will possess minimum Level 2 English and Mathematics, Level 3 qualification in learning support (or be willing to gain) and general education to at least Level 2 standard.

The Role

As Data Analyst, you will work closely with the MIS Manager in the analysis and presentation of funding and learner related data. You will work with end-users to agree specifications and reporting requirements.

What We Need From You

You will have experience in the use of management information systems, and of data analysis and report writing. You will have high level IT skills and the ability to interpret and communicate complex data. Knowledge of post-16 funding methodologies, including FE and HE, would be desirable.

You will be educated to a level 4 standard and you will have an IT related qualification or relevant experience, and be able to work under pressure with a high degree of accuracy.

East Riding College currently has an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner: Construction (Joinery Specialism) to teach on our apprenticeship programmes. The Position

As Advanced Practitioner: Construction (Joinery Specialism), you will take an active role in delivery of the related programmes, and review teaching inputs regularly to meet the changing needs of students and apprenticeship standards. You will take a lead role in the development of the College’s apprenticeship programmes related to Carpentry and Joinery, from classroom delivery to liaising with employers and the organisation of end point assessments. You will be committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning, and strive to maximise learner success, achievement and retention.

This post will be based at our St. Mary’s Walk campus in Bridlington and you will be required to travel between sites to our Flemingate campus in Beverley.

What we need from you

You will have recent and relevant industrial experience within carpentry and joinery, and ideally, of teaching and assessing within an educational environment. You will have knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and standards, including relevant end point assessments.

You will possess a relevant level 3 qualification in a related subject area, level 2 (or equivalent) literacy and numeracy, and possess or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification (Certificate in Education or PGCE). An Assessors award is also required for this role.

To be considered for the qualified rate applicants must possess a minimum Level 3 PTTLS.
