Working at East Riding College

We want the best people to work for us and we know that a supportive and friendly working environment plays a key role in recruiting and retaining employees. We promote the sharing of knowledge and invest strongly in training and development. We have attained the Investors in People status, which is a public recognition of the College’s commitment to the involvement, development and training of all employees, in order to improve performance.

We have also been named among the 75 Best Places to Work in the Public Sector by the Sunday Times on our first attempt at earning Best Companies accreditation. The result was based on a comprehensive and independent survey of our staff.

When you join us you will be given a thorough Induction programme and will also be allocated a mentor to support you through the first months of your employment. We think it is vital that you feel part of the College from your first day and aim to help you integrate into the College as soon as possible.
