AAT Level Four Diploma in Professional Accounting

This qualification consists of five examinable units and covers complex accounting and finance topics and tasks leading to students becoming confident with a wide range of financial management skills and applications.

This is a Classroom-based course held at Flemingate, Beverley, 9am-4pm, starting Tuesday, 19 September 2023 to 23 July 2024

What will I study?

Students will gain competencies in drafting financial statements for limited companies, recommending accounting systems strategies, and constructing and presenting complex management accounting reports.

How will I be assessed?

All units are assessed through a computer-based exam at the end of each study period.

How will the course be delivered?

A mixture of lectures, seminars and individual and group work.

Entry requirements

Students must be in possession of the AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma qualification. Students will be interviewed before being offered a place on the course.

What next?

On finishing training at level four, students can apply for AAT professional membership where the letters MAAT can be used after your name - this is an internationally recognised mark of accounting excellence.

Additional information

Advanced Learner Loans are available for £2573.  The remaining £122 will need to be topped up by the learner as a payment before the course starts.

Students are responsible for paying their own AAT Professional Membership fees directly to the AAT on commencement of the course, the cost is £244.
