Find out more at open events
24th April 2009 10:21am - Return to press releases
Advice and guidance for people considering an East Riding College will be available at two open events this month.
The events are a chance to talk to tutors, find out more about courses and have a look round the College's buildings.
They are suitable for people of all ages, whether they are considering a full-time, part-time or higher education course.
They will be held as follows:
- Tuesday, May 12, from 4pm to 7pm at Gallows Lane, Beverley
- Tuesday, May 19, from 4pm to 7pm at St Mary's Walk, Bridlington
Principal Derek Branton (pictured) said: "Information events give prospective students the opportunity to talk to tutors in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
"They can also have a walk round the buildings and see our specialist facilities, such as the kitchen and restaurant, the engineering and construction workshops and the hair and beauty salons."
There will be tutors present from all subject areas who will answer questions and chat about the courses, as well as help with completing application forms.
People who go to the Bridlington information event will be able to see progress on the construction of the new £17m campus, which will be open in time for the 2009/2010 academic year.
